We have made progress. In 1971, roughly 75,000 people died each day from hunger and persistent starvation. Today the number is roughly 35,000.
None need die!
How would it be if every time all of us went out to dinner, we contributed an equal amount to an organization committed to ending hunger or poverty in general?
Are we responsible for contributing to the well-being of the planet?
Why would we have been given the ability to discern what is constructive and useful
versus destructive and damaging for any other reason?
March 8th was International Women’s Day. Conversation abounds regarding ending individual and institutional violence against women.
When are we going to see the connection between any aggression, anger or violence on our part and the conditions in the world?
